What to expect ~
The experience
My approach whenever I take on a couple is making sure that their experience is a fun one. The idea of getting married is a blissful dream, and I want to make sure that it happens exactly like they dreamed it would be! Because it doesn't have to be the stressful experience that many past couples warn others of. As your photographer, I'm not only capturing photos of your big day, I'm also going to make sure the every step of the process goes by smoothly - meaning I will be as involved as you want me to be and be your shoulder to lean on. That means offering you tips and tricks I've accumulated over all the past weddings I've done, giving you my expertise on how to craft the perfect timeline, giving you guidance on how to pose for candid photographs that truly reflect you and your partner, EVERYTHING. I want you to feel like investing in me is like investing in a new friend who will extend themselves FOR you through all the tears of joy.
THE PROCESS
I want to get to know you two and make sure we're a great fit for each other. Fill out the inquiry form at the bottom of this page, tell me more about you and your partner, such as how you both met, what your favorite dates are, etc. Then we can set up a video call and get to know each other more as well as talk more details about your special day and what wedding packages would work best for you. Here I can also help draft your timeline if you're still in the starting stages of your wedding planning.
Step One: Let's Chat
If you're all on board to book, amazing! I'll send over a proposal that'll have a contract for you to sign and an invoice for you to make your payment. Once that's signed and the retainer is paid (30% for weddings, 50% for engagements), we can get the ball rolling - woo!
Step Two: Ready to book?
Right after booking, I will send out all the PDF guides that are included in my wedding packages (Engagement session prep guide, Location recommendations list, Ultimate Wedding Planning Guide). We'll also schedule the engagement session to kick start the wedding journey together!
Step Three: Let's do this thang.
I will stick with you throughout your wedding journey and be as involved as you'd like me to be! I can be your go-to if you need advice on crafting your timeline and you don't know where to start, if you want tips if certain plans end up changing, etc. Shortly before your wedding day, I'll email you a questionnaire for you to fill out on your wedding day details, and we'll schedule another few calls to go over everything so that your special day is as easy-breezy (or chaotically exciting) as possible and make the vision in your head come to life as beautifully as you imagined. We're in this together.
Step four: Along for the ride
We made it to the day of your wedding! This day will be all about the moment for you, and when the night wraps up and you're busy riding into the sunset together, I will put together some sneak peeks for you to see right away (hopefully I catch you on your honeymoon!) and the full turnaround time for photos will be 8-10 weeks :)
Step five: your forever ever
Photos aren't only proof that those moments happened, but they're also memories with emotional ties that we get to hold onto forever. It's a reason why I tell all my couples that their photos deserve to be printed out into canvasses, prints, and albums so that way those memories are tangible and able to be placed in a loving space within your home - not stuck behind a digital screen - and also within the hands of loved ones you pass it down to.
